Zee Drive is a Drive mapping software used to provide smoother and quicker access to the company SharePoint without the use of OneDrive, avoiding a lot of common issues with sync errors and slow updates to files. This is performed via a direct connection to SharePoint.

Zee Drive creates this connection to SharePoint and all changes will update instantly via a Mapped Drive on your PC.

Please note Onedrive will still be installed on your machine for personal storage and backing up your Desktop, Documents and Pictures Folders.

How to use

Your current SharePoint Library will now be accessed via the S: Drive for Company Data & M: for Marketing Images under This PC, much like the old system on the RDS.

The Status of Zee Drive can be viewed via double clicking the blue and white Z Icon in the bottom right of the screen.

Sharing documents

If you ever need to send a file or a colleague, you can right click on a selected file and select “Send a link to this file” where you will be presented with a couple options on how you would like them to open the document which can then be shared with those who need it.

Using the options shown you can also view any previous versions of said document, enable co-authoring or open in the web browser, much like how Onedrive works currently.

Change Of Password

If your email password is ever changed Zee Drive will need you to sign in again so you can access the Company Data

This can be performed by double clicking the Zee Drive icon in the bottom right of your screen and selecting “Click here to reauthenticate with Office 365” where you will prompted to sign in again using your password, you should then see the S: Drive reappear in file explorer
